PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)

PTO supports the children, teachers and staff of the school in three ways:

  1. Acting as a bridge between parents and staff.
  2. Providing dedicated volunteers needed for many in-school activities
  3. Raising funds vital to the excellent education received at Sacred Heart of Jesus School

PTO is a great way to stay connected to what’s going on at Sacred Heart School. You will get to know other parents and help ensure that your children have yet another faith-filled educational year.

At every PTO meeting, members get an in-depth report from the principal about what’s going on in the school.

We hope you’ll consider becoming a member and join us. PTO meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 9:15am in the Andes room.

Parents and Friends Gift Certificate Incentive Program

This program was initiated by a group of volunteer school families working together to reduce personal tuition costs. The program is based on buying gift certificates from local and national vendors at a discount stated by the vendor.

Participants in the program pay full price for the certificates. The discount funds are held in an account until the end of the fiscal year when they are then paid to the church to reduce each family’s tuition bill for the upcoming school year. The fiscal year runs from February 1 to January 31 of the following year. There are nominal shipping and software fees, which are split among all families utilizing the program. You will receive an update of your earnings on the packing slip with each order placed.

Student Referral Program

We recognize that our current school families are often our biggest cheerleaders. To thank you for referring new students and families to Sacred Heart of Jesus School, we offer a Student Referral Program. Sacred Heart will award a $250 tuition credit to a current Sacred Heart family for each new student that is referred to, enrolls and attends Sacred Heart School. (Refer a family that enrolls two students and receive a $500 credit, three students and receive a $750 credit, etc.)

The referral program is for current Sacred Heart parents or guardians who are paying tuition for enrolled students (Kindergarten—through 8th grade).

Referred students must be enrolled at the beginning of a semester for the referring family to receive their distribution. (If a referred student begins mid-semester, the referral award distribution will begin during the second semester of enrollment.)

  • Families who pay by automatic withdrawal or invoice will receive a credit to their account.
  • Families who pay their tuition in full before the school year begins will receive an award check.

To participate in the New Student Referral Program, you must first fill out a Referral Program form. Forms are available in the school office. Referrals are only valid if the referral form is submitted before any contact from the new family is made.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Sacred Heart of Jesus School!
