Sacred Heart of Jesus School celebrates grandparents day with a traditional light breakfast for grandparents and special friends of the students.
Sacred Heart believes grandparents hold a special place in the hearts of families, therefore, we honor them each year.
Grandparents are the cornerstone of a family.
They are eager to help when help is needed.
They show unconditional love for everyone.
Grandparents share their wealth of knowledge and wisdom.
They are present at soccer games, at baseball games and at music recitals.
They offer a bit of advice when advice is asked for.
They share their courage and their strengths.
Grandparents are tender.
Grandparents will spoil their grandchildren, it’s their duty!
They will make memories to last a lifetime with their grandchildren.
They create a legacy with their grandchildren that is passed down from generation to generation.
Sacred Heart of Jesus School is proud to carry on the tradition of Grandparents Day. It will be celebrated on Thursday, September 25 at 8 a.m. There will be pastries, juice and coffee for them to enjoy, followed by a tour of each child’s classroom. The morning will conclude with Mass at 9:30 where all grandparents are invited to attend.
